The establishment of the Mindanao State University System (MSUS) Open University was duly approved by the Board of Regents (BOR) under BOR Resolution No. 9, s. 2003. The University main campus in Marawi City will award degrees to students of this online university who will successfully comply with all the academic and other requirements for graduation. The diploma or certificate awarded to any MSU-WINT graduate will be the same as the one achieved in-campus.
